Ivan Warren, age 80 years, of Louisville, passed away, Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Meadowview Health & Rehabilitation Center in Louisville.
The native of Green County was a member of the Little Flock Baptist Church in Shepherdsville, and retired from Stemwood Corporation in New Albany, Indiana after several years.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Denise Warren, his parents, Forster and Florence Noe Warren, and two sisters, Alma Coy and Lois Hutcherson.
He is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Alma J. Warren, a son, Rick (Barbie) Warren of Shepherdsville, two granddaughters, Whitney (Josh) Crocker and Heather Warren, three sisters, Pauline Underwood of Valley Station, Ruby (Kenneth) Skaggs of Magnolia, and Shirley (Ronnie) Underwood of Mt. Sherman, and a brother, Mitchell (Shirley) Warren of Louisville.
A special thanks to his primary care physicians, Dr. James F. Fitzpatrick and Dr. Jane Cornett, nurse practitioner, Angie Ethridge, and the staff at Meadowview Health & Rehabilitation Center in Louisville.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM (EDT) Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with the Rev. Rodney Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Summersville Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 3-8 PM (EDT) Wednesday, and after 9 AM (EDT) Thursday at the funeral home.
