Monica Underwood

Mrs. Monica Marie Sparks Underwood of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Frances Lindsey Sparks of Summersville, and the late Fred Sparks, was born on August, 6, 1978 in Liberty, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 36 years, two months and 27 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, William Jason Underwood of Greensburg, having united in marriage on October 23, 1997.

Other survivors include two daughters: Kayla Lynn Sparks, and Alexis Deanna Underwood both of Summersville; three brothers and a sister: Dennis Eugene Sparks of Lexington, Gary Lee Sparks of Magnolia, Tony Sparks of Louisville, and Colleen Wright of Georgia; a special niece: Virginia Ann Thompson; a special friend: Sally Matney; and a host of other relatives and friends.
